Les Voyages de Chantal Terms & Conditions
Les Voyages de Chantal is an immersive travel experience by Chantal’s Cheese Shop, offered under the following Terms & Conditions. By purchasing your tickets, you acknowledge, understand, and accept the following:
Age Requirement:
The minimum age to participate in our voyages is 21. No voyagers under 21 on the starting date of the selected voyage will be allowed on any portion of the tour, including but not limited to transportation, lodging, and activities. This policy aligns with the legal drinking age in the US and will be strictly enforced. Reservations made by or on behalf of voyagers under the minimum age will be treated as Canceled by You under our Cancellation Policy. In the event a voyager attempts to violate this policy, and arrives to the tour without meeting the age requirement, they will be asked to leave and not be entitled to a refund or compensation of any kind.
Confirmation Policy:
- Upon purchase, voyagers will receive email instructions for completing registration, which includes Voyage Contract and Voyager Information Sheet, each needing to be signed and returned to us within 10 days of receipt.
- Voyages are not confirmed until we receive payment, Voyage Contract, and Voyager Information Sheet, and not until we have reached a minimum participation threshold. Once we have reached the threshold, we will notify all voyagers via email.Â
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation by us:
- Our primary goal will be to deliver a travel experience that delivers the unique perspective outlined in our voyage descriptions. From time to time, however, situations may arise that present difficulties or make the voyage financially infeasible, in part or in whole. Travel Risks and Allergies
- Our exploration of cuisine will include exposure to most common food allergens (including, but not limited to, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, and sesame.) We recommend travelers with related dietary needs communicate this prior to purchase, which we will evaluate on a case-by-case basis. However, the nature of this voyage means that we may not be able to accommodate allergy or dietary preference requests, and under no circumstances do we make any guarantees to the absence of such allergens or adherence to such preferences, nor do we make any statements or guarantees on behalf of any third party, those hired by us or otherwise. As such, our request for allergen information as listed on the Voyager Information Sheet, by email, or via any other communications, does not constitute nor should it be interpreted as an obligation toward accommodation on our part.
- During the voyage, you may be exposed to communicable illness, including but not limited to Covid-19, influenza, colds, and norovirus. You further understand and accept that the risk of exposures to these communicable illnesses and others is inherent in most activities where people interact or share common facilities, and are beyond ourour control, and cannot be eliminated under any circumstances. You knowingly and voluntarily accept these risksContract, including the risk of serious illness or death arising from such exposures, and/or related damages, loss, costs and expenses of any nature whatsoever.

Transportation outside the parameters of the voyage description, including but not limited to airfare, train fare, bus fare, taxi, and/or rideshare, and accommodations outside the dates established in the voyage description, including but not limited to hotel rooms, are not included in the voyage.
