Here for the Holidays! Gooey, melted brie with a sour cherry spread and crushed marcona almonds all wrapped up in some puff pastry. It comes frozen, and you’ll need an oven and an egg. Serves a meal for two, appetizer for four, bites for six, or a whole dang evening for one.
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Beat one egg to make an egg wash. Brush pastry with egg wash.
Bake from frozen for 50 minutes until beautifully golden, checking color periodically. [If defrosted, cut bake time to 35 minutes, checking periodically.)
Be Patient. Wait 10-15 minutes to cool. (If you cut immediately, the brie will be super hot and extra oozy… basically it’ll be a mess, but this is up to you!)
